Lacey Act declaration
Wooden furniture imported into the US commonly requires a Lacey Act plant product declaration with the species and country of harvest. We discuss species information for the selected designs with your customs broker.
STURDY tip-over rule
Clothing storage units such as dressers and chests sold in the US fall under the STURDY Act and ASTM F2057-23. Stability requirements and anchoring hardware are discussed per design before an order is agreed.
Composite wood (TSCA Title VI)
Where a design uses MDF or plywood components, US formaldehyde emission rules for composite wood apply. We confirm the materials used in each design so your compliance team can check the requirements.
Wood packaging (ISPM 15)
Wooden pallets and crates used for export are expected to be treated and marked to ISPM 15. Packing materials are agreed with the shipment plan.
